Inspired by the charming old windmills that still sit in the backdrop of the Sussex countryside, each one slightly different in design from the last.
This windmill is No. 2 and is made from sycamore wood. The blades are made from brass and the shape is inspired by the helicopter seeds that drop from the sycamore tree.
My windmills are simply fun artistic ornaments that are pleasing in their assembly of intricately fashioned parts, while also having a kinetic element that’s equily satisfying to interact with.
My windmills are limited edition collectors objects. I have only made 3 Sycamore windmills, and I will never make more, instead I’ll move on to the next design. If you see a windmill in my series that you like, grab it quick!
