Tortilla Press [LE]
You know you love Mexican food, you make your own salsa, you can handle the Habanero cause but do you make your own tortillas? Well why not! It’s so simple with a neat little Tortilla press.
After seeing other home made tortillas presses I was inspired to design my own and came up with this. Made from walnut with solid brass hinges this limited edition kitchen tool will get you some serious kudos from your foodie friends.
Finished with natural, food safe oil.

I really enjoy making one-off pieces. It’s fun to pick something random like a tortilla press, get creative and make it in my own way. These type of projects often become a labor of love as I pour time into working out elements of the project that are new to me. However the benefit of a one-off project is I don’t need to worry if the the process if streamline for future batches. For this reason some of the items I make are either one-offs or one of a small batch. These products will be marked accordingly, for example “1/3”.
