Brace - Coffee Table [ONE-OFF]
A long, narrow, feature coffee table with outstandingly beautiful dark tones. Made from a combination of Scottish burr elm and smoked oak.
The name of the table reflects the structure of the leg design. Experimenting with square mortise and tenon joints and overlapping vertical and horizontal lines this form was developed. The structure is built around a heavy solid foundation with smaller posts and beams for additional bracing. The design isn’t necessarily inspired by any one thing in particular but could be seen like model of a timber frame building.
